Embedded Systems Engineer (m/f/d) 50%

Your New Job:
Together with the SHTC-team, you design, within an applied research framework, minimal viable prototypes for an evidence-based proof of concept, close to industrialization.
Your profile:
- You have a university degree (Bachelor, Master) in Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering or judged equivalent.
- You have several years of experience in embedded hardware/software development and PCB design – experience in medical devices is a plus.
- You possess a strong sense of responsibility, maintain high work standards, and excel as a collaborative team player.
- You are able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- You are passionate for innovation and enjoy keeping track of the latest cutting-edge technologies in your work field.
- Your language skills (written and oral) are proficient in English. German or French is a plus.
Your Skills:
- Ability to understand the needs of our customers and translate them into technical requirements and implementations.
- Proficiency in electronics design, schematic drawing, and PCB layout.
- Professional hardware debugging and troubleshooting skills on various platforms.
- Strong expertise in programming languages commonly used in Desktop and Embedded Systems development, such as C/C++.
- Knowledge of other programming languages is an advantage (Java, C#, Python).
- In-depth knowledge of different operating systems (Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, FreeRTOS, ...).
- You can develop GUI software and you are familiar with IoT-transfer protocols.
