Product Owner

ROCKON DIGITAL EVOLUTION is a Swiss FinTech based in Zurich and founded in 2014.
Our USP is the capability to build fully digital and compliant “Client Onboarding” processes –
From process automation, identification, video collaboration to electronic signatures. Our
customers are well-known companies in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We search for a committed person who helps us to become «The European Champion for
Digital Onboarding», more specifically a team player with a good understanding of the
challenges of digitization and a proven track record in developing state of the art business
solutions and successful project delivery to the customer.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Having the overall responsibility for the product definition, strategy, delivery roadmap as
    well as OKRs (Objective and Key results) constantly evolving the product
  • Building up a deep understanding of the business context and act on behalf of business
    stakeholders when managing the change backlog as well as guide agile pods by defining
    and prioritizing epics and user stories to achieve business goals
  • Be overall responsible for creating impactful change to our clients, while ensuring the
    high quality and compliance of the product
  • Oversee and further develop the IT architecture and our product portfolio
  • Assess and implement new technologies, systems and infrastructures that provide a
    competitive advantage
  • Monitor IT budgets
  • Manage our IT relationships with clients and partners
  • Ensure that technologies are used efficiently, profitably and safely

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES WE SEARCH FOR:

  • Experience in the software industry

  • Experience in product management

  • Scrum master

  • Experience in the banking / digital signature / onboarding industry

  • Critical thinking, Strategic thinking with strong business acumen

  • Very good communication and presentation skills

  • Requirements engineering

  • Business analysis

  • Understanding what the client wants

  • Creating sketches/mocks for user interfaces

  • Defining roadmaps

  • Working in agile environments with strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and
    product ownership (such as performing product owner role in a scrum team)

  • Excellent understanding of digitization trends and digital customer experiences

  • Automation, platforms, identification, e-signatures, etc.)

  • Effective and efficient working style, as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Strong organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a massive plus

  • Proven professional experience in a similar role or the ambition to develop into such a
    role

  • Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, engineering or similar field
