Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver general internship presentations for students on all campuses, as well as tutorials/workshops on specific subject areas including CV design, motivation letter correction, job search techniques, mock interviews and visasCounsel and advise students on all campuses in their active search for an internship and communicates effectively and regularly with students about their progressProvide Career Counselling to graduating studentsProvide guidance and advice to students on CV and motivation letter design, interview technique, etc. as well as on visa procedures, as necessaryProvide support to students during internship, liaising with employers when necessaryFollow up on individual placement (verification, tracking etc.)Prepare required documents such as contracts and attestations as well as any other documents as necessaryEnsure all student internships are properly registered and checked; and that their internships conform to the requirements set up by the CS and GIHEValidate post-internship employer evaluationsEnsure all CID material is kept up to date, in cooperation with the whole CS teamRegularly collect data and prepare statistics on internship and graduate recruitment, as required by the department and other stakeholdersAttend relevant meetings and committees, including but not limited to Progression Panels and Program CommitteesHandle management of and general administration related to Career Services Portal; as well as regular postings from employers and communications from studentsSupport Head of Career Services & Industry Relations in regular and ad hoc tasksSupport the Company Visit Programme (CVP) as requiredSupport team members in preparation of on-campus / online Career events, as requiredSupervise and guides Career Services Advisors and Interns in daily tasks (where applicable)Profile and experiences:
Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Human Resources or equivalent qualification (desirable)Fluent in written and spoken English, French highly desirable. Any additional language is an advantageSimilar experience in an educational environment is definitely a plusPrevious experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirableExcellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to make presentations to different stakeholders (students, colleagues, Educational Counselors, etc.)Ability to connect with and motivate students of all agesComfortable working in an international environmentAbility to prioritize and work effectively at all times, particularly under pressureFlexible, adaptable and able to work autonomouslyOther information:
