What you would do as our Mobile Application Developer (f/m/d)

As a Mobile Application Developer, you will play an essential role in the development of a new Mobile App Platform to be used to deliver Mobile applications for Service and Installation of pedestrian doors. The Mobile Application Developer will mainly help designing and implementing new user interfaces and features in the mobile application as well as unit and integration test. Key delivery is a clean, readable, and testable code.

You will be part of a global app team with coworkers in India, Switzerland and Sweden and working closely together with UX designer, the Firmware Developers of our products and our technicians in various location globally.

You would also:

  • Develop, design, and maintain mobile applications.

  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of application.

  • Understanding each layer of software architecture, including the user interface and data collection.

  • Troubleshooting, Unit testing and documentation of code.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features.

  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

    The skills and experience you need

    We are looking for someone who:

  • Experience with Kotlin/Swift and modern Android design patterns

  • Knowledge of multi-platform hybrid mobile development

  • Familiarity with standard toolsets (Android Studio, Gradle, GitHub Actions)

  • Understanding of the Android application stack and developer testing infrastructure

  • Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)

  • Experience with BLE communication protocol, agile development methodologies, and git

  • Open-minded, initiative-taking, result-oriented problem solver, team player, believer in lean and agile values, collaborative, responsible, strong communication skills
