Key Responsibilities :

  • Run in an independent way the application laboratory work: weigh and measure flavors and/or compounds, prepare samples and dilutions accordingly given protocol and formulations
  • Prepare applications related to HNC segments (Dietary supplement, medical nutrition, nutrition improvement, pharma, early life nutrition) according to specific methods and given instructions, able to apply  flavors and technologies by using adequate equipment’s and IT tools.
  • Preparation of samples for evaluation purposes and submissions to clients, run relevant tests and analyses and to maintain the laboratory in good operable condition.
  • Support technologist in the product development for client briefs using the required knowledge in products and processes.
  • Be involved in tasting sessions (organization of sessions, preparation of samples, tastings) following defined tasting protocols and in full respect of HS&E rules
  • Wrap/pack various product samples
  • Run stability tests and check flavor solubility following  protocols
  • Manage the stock of raw materials, the flavors library and the maintenance of the laboratory and equipments
  • Alert requirement for reordering of raw materials, flavors, packaging material
  • Follow established HSE rules and provide regularly areas of improvements
  • Prepare and coordinate the dispatch of samples
  • Manage various administrative internal systems/tasks and keep daily record on orders, dispatch, laboratory work
  • Ensure hygiene standards are maintained on a hight level in the Lab
  • Independently manages simple projects with minimal guidance from Technologist
  • Be the action leader for simple projects using Atlas
  • Participate in on-site client visits to facilate the tasting organization
  • Give trainings and guidance for Laboratory equipment
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of flavor collection and is able to demonstrate that knowledge during project execution

 

 

You bring:

  • + 2-3 years of experience in a laboratory environment
  • Secondary education in chemistry /food science/analytical (CFC level)
  • Autonomy, accuracy and reliability in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Suite and in-house IT tools  
  • Ability to quickly integrate into a new team and collaborative spirit
  • Continuous improvement and pro-active mindset
  • Fluent in French (C1) and good level of English (B2)
