We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join a family office.
The successful candidate will work directly with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and play a critical role in supporting the investment decision-making process. This is a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to various asset classes, including public and private markets, and to contribute to both fund selection and direct investments.

Description
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential investment opportunities across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate, and alternative investments.
- Prepare detailed investment reports, financial models, and valuation analyses.
- Assist in conducting comprehensive due diligence on prospective investments, including market research, competitive analysis, and financial performance evaluation.
- Coordinate with external advisors and consultants as needed.
- Monitor existing investments, track performance, and provide regular updates to the CIO.
- Assist in the development and implementation of portfolio strategies to optimize returns and manage risk.
- Prepare regular investment reports and presentations for the CIO and family members.
- Maintain and update investment databases and records.
- Work closely with other team members and external partners to support the overall investment strategy.
- Support the Family Principal with any ad hoc analysis requests
- Participate in investment committee meetings as required and contribute to strategic discussions.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. A master's degree or professional qualification, such as a CFA or ACA, is strongly preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in investment analysis, preferably within a family office, private equity firm, asset management company, investment consultancy, or investment bank.
- We will also consider candidates from a Management Consultancy or Big-4 Accountancy background if you can demonstrate sufficient interest and experience in investing.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in French or another language is a plus.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, or other financial data platforms.
