- Take responsibility for, continuously improve and maintain the entire compliance framework, including the identification, assessment and monitoring of relevant compliance risks (focusing on anti-money laundering, market conduct, conflicts of interest, advisory and other financial services-related risks)
- Support with execution of the compliance activity plan
- Support monitoring and reporting to both, the Executive Committee and Board of Directors on adherence to the compliance requirements
- Support with reporting to the group and other stakeholders
- Become a competent and trustworthy key contact with regard to all compliance-related questions (compliance consulting)
- Perform due diligence on (high-risk) clients and transactions
- Develop, update and advise on compliance regulations (polices, procedures instructions and guidelines), as well as RegTech tools to ensure compliance
- Play an active role in internal and cross-department banking projects with regards to compliance requirements
- Further develop Compliance and RegTech tools to optimize compliance processes
- Review and perform risk assessments, controls at regular intervals
- Monitor and lead the implementation of regulatory developments
- Support, clarify and advise on ad-hoc compliance violations
- Plan and implement regular training and awareness-raising measures in the area of compliance (e.g. anti-money laundering, transaction monitoring, conflicts of interest, fraud prevention, and others)
- Analyze and submit money laundering cases to relevant authorities
- Have close exchange and coordination with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor in business administration and/or law (Uni / FH / HF)
- Minimum of 4-8 years professional experience in the Swiss financial services sector, preferably in a compliance, legal, risk management and/or audit/consulting function
- Solid knowledge in the areas of anti-money laundering monitoring, advisory compliance and other banking-related areas including market conduct and conflicts of interest
- Proactive, reliable, conscientious way of working, and a team-oriented personality
- Excellent IT skills (MS 365 Suite and a fast learner of other tools)
- Great interest in developing your business skills in breadth and depth in a dynamic, interactive, and digital environment
- Analytical, conceptual, and holistic way of thinking as well as a flair for business-oriented solutions
- Be able pragmatically combine a legal and business mindset to move fast
- Enjoy working independently and being part of a dynamic and complex environment
- Project Management skills
- Business fluency in both English and German
