Tasks:
- You plan, implement, upgrade, manage and monitor security measures to prevent data breaches, cyber attacks, and other security incidents
- You analyze security intelligence reports and events and create reports and dashboards of security alerts and incidents to show trends and anomalies, and present them to management with your recommendations
- You analyze, respond to, and lead efforts on complex security incidents and threats and act as the first escalation point within the team and outside the team
- You ensure that our vulnerability management processes are followed and continuously improved
- You act as mentor and security ambassador to help increase the security awareness of our staff
- You search and identify abnormal activity and identify potential threats
- You tune our detection rules and optimize the alert generation to maximize effectiveness
- Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent skills
- 5 years or more of working experience in the Cyber Security domain
- Strong technical knowledge from relevant Cyber security areas and disciplines, preferably backed up by professional security qualifications (e.g. CISSP, OSCP, GCFA, GCIH...)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- The ability to be an effective team player and very good communication skills
- Experience in the telecommunications industry is strongly preferred
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills, German language skills are a plus
