Your profile:

  • You are currently in a master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or IT Management
  • Ideally, you have a Supply Chain Management Certification (e.g. ASCM/APICS: CPIM) or a Project Management Certification (e.g. PMI-PMP or Agile Scrum Master)
  • You have Project management and Lean Manufacturing practices appetency
  • You have skills in supply chain management 
  • You speak fluently French and English 
  • You have a strong ability to communicate with various stakeholders

Celebrating 140 years of history, with over 1900 passionate people over 20 countries, we're seeking exceptional talent to join our Squad in La Chaux-De-Fonds as an Operations Lean Manufacturing intern for 6 months.

You will contribute to conduct a 5S analysis and implement improvements to enhance workplace organization and efficiency. You will have to perform a SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) analysis on the preparation time for final control processes to streamline operations. You will also conduct a SMED analysis to decrease the changing time between two milling productions by 30%.

Your main responsabilities:

Project Leader role

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights on the current movement component production process

- Prepare and present regular progress reports, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management

Lean Manufacturing 

- Conduct a comprehensive SMED analysis of the milling production and control process to identify inefficiencies, and areas for improvement

- Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles and analytical tools to improve production workflows, cycle times, resource utilization, and other key performance metrics.
- Develop and propose innovative solutions and improve overall production efficiency
