Role Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Principal UX Designer to join our team and lead the development of a comprehensive UX strategy for our self-service experiences. This role will focus on creating intuitive designs that seamlessly integrate seller-led experiences with self-service interactions, while also incorporating omni-channel capabilities to ensure consistency across all touchpoints. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing design systems to streamline component creation and promote consistency and efficiency in design and development efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of a cohesive UX strategy for our self-service experiences, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align initiatives with business goals and customer needs.

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions and drive iterative improvements throughout the design process.

  • Create intuitive and user-friendly designs that enhance the overall customer experience and facilitate seamless interactions across all touchpoints.

  • Implement omni-channel capabilities to ensure consistency and continuity across web, mobile, and other digital channels.

  • Establish and maintain design systems and guidelines to promote consistency, scalability, and efficiency in design and development efforts.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other members of the UX Engineering teams, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience as a UX designer, with a focus on designing self-service experiences and omni-channel capabilities.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of successful UX design projects, with an emphasis on user-centered design principles and intuitive interfaces.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar software.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse stakeholders.

  • Experience establishing and maintaining design systems and guidelines, with a focus on scalability, consistency, and efficiency.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design and digital experiences.

  • User Experience (UX) Research: Knowledge of methods, tools and technologies used in UX research; ability to collect and analyze data regarding user behaviors, needs, and attitudes in order to guide product development.

  • User Experience Design: Knowledge of user experience design tools, techniques and approaches; ability to design applications that are valued, positively perceived and used by clients.

  • Telecom Product Development: Knowledge of telecom product development; ability to manage the process of enhancing existing or developing new telecom products and services.
