- Lead the design and implementation of monitoring plans, including the development of indicators, data collection tools, and protocols, ensuring alignment with project objectives and donor requirements.
- Conduct regular visits to project sites in each country to ensure data quality and accuracy, and to support the adaptation of MEAL approaches to local contexts.
- Coordinate and lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of project data to track progress against project objectives and inform decision-making at both project and global levels.
- Work with the Policy and Advocacy team to translate impact data into persuasive policy and advocacy narratives and outputs for external stakeholders.
- Facilitate reflection, evaluation and assessment to measure project outcomes and impact, including baseline, mid-term, and end-line evaluations, with a focus on capturing context-specific nuances.
- Contribute to incorporating Everyday Peace Indicators and/or other participatory approaches into MEAL frameworks, capturing the broader impact of the project in meaningful partnership with communities.
- Lead analysis and learning initiatives within the project team and with key stakeholders to promote continuous learning and adaptation, ensuring that lessons learned are incorporated into programme design and implementation.
- Provide technical support and capacity building to project staff and partners on impact analysis methodologies, tools, and processes, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and learning.
- Ensure timely reporting of findings to project management, donors, and other stakeholders, highlighting successes, challenges, and lessons learned for each country context.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills, attributes and experience:
- Degree level education (postgraduate degree or equivalent professional experience preferred) in MEAL, International Affairs, Political Science, or other related fields.
