Actuary Reinsurance & Catastrophe Management - Travel

In this position you are responsible for:

Development and implementation of state-of-the-art reinsurance framework for the global travel portfolio in order to protect and optimise the P&L and facilitate business growth. The topics will range from administrative process to technical analysis to negotiation / coordination / presentationParticipate in designing and structuring innovative business deals that leverage reinsurance features, including fronting, captives, stop loss, risk sharing and special cessionsManagement of financial / solvency optimisation initiatives, including technical input, coordination and project managementAnalysis, design and execution of new approaches to enhance maturity of cat management, including modelling, monitoring and pricingAssessment of targets for reinsurance purposes, including due diligence reporting (i.e. tax, legal, regulatory compliance, etc.)Work with pricing, data analytics, governance, data and business/sales functions to enhance maturity and support business

What you bring:

Minimum Bachelorâs degree, ideally Masterâs. Preferably in business / finance, mathematics / statistics or engineeringSignificant experience in (re)insurance, non-life or broker Experience managing multiple cross-functional senior stakeholdersMulti-country, multi-cultural reinsurance exposure preferredFluency in English
