Data Integration Engineer -B2B vacancy requiring profound API knowledge for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

Leading the design, development, and implementation of the Open Banking API frameworkWorking closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define API requirements and align them with business goalsMonitoring the transition from file transfer protocols to API-based communication, ensuring minimal disruption to clientsMaintaining and enhancing the existing secure transport platform to support new API functionalitiesProviding comprehensive support and training to clients during the migration processDeveloping, implementing, and enforcing security protocols to safeguard data integrity and privacy, staying compliant with relevant regulations



Your experience/knowledge:

3+ years of professional experience in API development, with a focus on Open BankingDeep understanding of Open Banking standards and protocols Experience with secure transport technologies like SFTP, FTPS, HTTPSProficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.jsExpertise in data privacy regulations and security standards like DPR, PSD2University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldsLanguage skills: English, German - fluent
