As a data project manager, you work at the intersection of customers, technical implementation, platform operation and product. You plan, lead, and track Onedot implementation projects for new Onedot customers and have the financial project responsibility that includes billing and tracking implementation efforts. You guide the customer through the Onedot platform setup and the Onedot platform configuration options. You easily grasp the needs of customers and translate requirements into Onedot standard capabilities. In case of requirements outside the Onedot standard, you define clear change requests and coordinate solution options. Your excellent analytical skills support you in structuring the project and analysing product data, ERP/PIM data models, technical interfaces, and data exchange processes. After successful implementation of the platform and user training, you hand over the platform to the customer for self-service usage.
Insufficient data quality and project risks catches your eye. Your communication skills help you to transparently report project progress and issues or risks to project stakeholders. Your consulting experience allows you to interact with leadership and expert roles at our customers and ensure requirements adhere to the contracted scope and implementation approach. Being satisfied with the status quo is not enough for you. You are continuously improving our implementation best practices and are keen to interact with product teams to advance the Onedot Platform based on the insights obtained from your interaction with customers and partners.
In this position, you work closely externally with customer/partner leadership and data management experts and internally with Onedot data analysts, who do the technical implementation of the platform setup, Onedot data engineers, who are responsible for the platform operation, design, and maintenance of data pipelines, Onedot product management, and Onedot sales.
Onedot designs and engineers proprietary machine learning algorithms incl. deep learning, and transformer-based large language models (LLMs) because existing approaches do not go far enough. Our technology achieves human-like performance and has already been trained with over 750 million products. - Plan, lead and execute Onedot platform setup projects, drive implementation and technical platform configuration
- Analyse customer setup regarding product data model, available product data for AI training and technical interfaces
- Plan and coordinate with Onedot's technical implementation team correct platform setup according to customer's requirements
- Process customer support requests regarding platform functionality, data modelling, delivered data, reporting, and triage to technical teams if required
- Enable Onedot partner companies to lead and execute their own Onedot implementation projects
- Educate customers in Onedot platform usage and best practices of product data onboarding
- Collaborate with product management to continuously improve and evolve the Onedot platform capabilities
- Continuously assess and improve Onedot implementation processes, checklists, documentation, help center
- Several years of experience in data project management managing external customers and internal teams
- Relevant know-how as a business analyst, consultant, product data/PIM/MDM consultant, requirements engineer or data analyst
- Strong pro-active way to drive projects, ability to logically structure and fully/throughly document a project
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate unstructured expectations into actionable requirements
- Proficient analytical skills and the ability to analyse data problems and understand data transformation processes
- Getting-things-done mentality, thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Practical experience working with data (Excel, Power BI or other tools) and Atlassian Jira/Confluence
- Affinity to e-commerce, product data or master data management
- Good understanding of PIM/ERP, product data models and technical interfaces (SFTP, APIs)
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and training an AI
- Advanced German language skills, oral and written
