Senior Specialist - Internal Communications, EMEA

The world's fastest growing sports brand is looking for a passionate and resourceful communicator who thrives at the intersection of creative storytelling and cross-functional collaboration to lead our internal communications strategy for our sales team supporting Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Revolutionizing performance-driven products, On is taking the global sports footwear, apparel and accessories market by storm with cutting-edge tech, innovation and a commitment to sustainability.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff of EMEA, this role will work closely with the Global Head of Internal Communications and various teams to shape and enable cultural moments like regional town halls, regional elements during global events and other strategic announcements, change messaging, and executive communications. In doing so, you act as the core driver of our EMEA internal communication, enabling information to move freely across the region.

Your Mission
  • Create and lead the Internal Communications strategy in EMEA, developing an approach to internal communication across functions, offices and teams in the EMEA region, including implementing a channel- strategy.
  • Produce engaging content and presentations on key topics related to our strategy and culture, with the ability to adapt your writing style based on the channel and messenger.
  • Define strategy, shape and drive content for major internal events like EMEA town halls, in partnership with GTM and global events teams, with great attention to detail and a clear priority around effective storytelling.
  • Serve as a key partner with teams including Internal Communications, Internal Events, Workplace Experience, and Diversity, Inclusion & Social Impact to ensure global and EMEA alignment.
  • Develop and execute an ongoing intranet content strategy for the region to ensure consistent and high quality information is shared across teams.
  • Enable the EMEA leadership team to effectively communicate and track strategic priorities across all subregions and teams.
Your story
  • You bring 4+ years of experience working in creative and multi-disciplinary roles across Project Management, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or another relevant field. Experience using Interact, Slack, and G-Suite apps is a plus.
  • You are a self-starter; skilled at pitching and running with your ideas; able to adapt to fast-moving project timelines and feedback. This same motivation drives you to constantly pick up new skills and try new things.
  • You are a team player who enjoys leading large, cross-functional projects and empowering the people around you to succeed through strong organization, presentation, and listening abilities.
  • You are analytical; able to learn systems easily; identify process improvements and gaps; and execute efficiently against them. At the same time, you are skilled at writing for multimedia surfaces; blending short-form storytelling with strategic complexities.
  • You closely follow the internal comms field and in English speaking and writing abilities or highly advanced C2. Additional languages are a plus.
  • You have a deep conviction with regards to our five core spirits and are value-centric in your approach.
  • You are flexible for international travel and are based in- or within proximity to one of our inspiring Zurich, Berlin or London office hubs to be empowered by On’s hybrid working policy.
