Location: Cheseaux, Switzerland

Mission

Integrated into a small team of R&D system engineers, you will actively participate to the implementation & maintenance of the IT infrastructure used for R&D purposes: development, test and continuous integration systems; both physical and virtual machines.

You’ll also be responsible of developing and maintaining the infrastructure tools layer deployed in our on-premises customers.

The candidate will demonstrate strong inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and administrate internal R&D network infrastructure
  • Maintain and administrate internal R&D machines (Linux + few windows systems)
  • Perform technical support to R&D teams (network, hardware and OS issues)
  • Implement and maintain monitoring tools
  • Ensure that a good backup strategy is in place and that it is applied correctly
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure tools deployed to our customers
  • Ensure 3rd level of support for one of our on-premises platforms
Requirements / Profile
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in system engineering
    • Knowledge in Network/HW/Operating System
    • Administration knowledge of Linux Red Hat, VMware
    • Knowledge of scripting (bash, python)
    • Networking competences (TCP/IP, redundant architecture, network equipment configuration, network architecture) is a plus
    • Knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins and Puppet/Foreman is a plus
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, ready to go extra-mile to achieve great results
  • Team player, curious, pragmatic, rigorous.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge on following processes is a plus:
    • Familiar with Agile framework, DevOps concepts.
    • Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment
