As an R&D Senior Engineer, you will contribute significantly to technology and product development projects by identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
Your responsibilities- Designing, Implementing and Validating software applications for UPS product line.
- Formulating Analog and Digital Electronics specifically for UPS purposes.
- Design & Implement Networking solutions primarily for Power Quality Systems.
- Contributing to general improvement by providing support as needed.
- Integrating Engineering Solutions for customized customer requirements & application.
- Assisting customers to troubleshoot issues related to the operation of real-time & mission-critical systems.
- Applying the NPI process by overseeing NPI tollgate activities and managing related documentation for each NPI Program.
- University degree in Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 2-3 years experience in software development.
- Knowledge of C and assembler programming, embedded software development and web-based applications as well as communication protocols.
- Knowledge of connectivity tasks and related firmware (LINUX is a plus).
- Knowledge in power electronic control is a plus.
- Experience in modeling, simulation and testing of power electronics is a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills as well as good communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and multicultural environment.
- Proactive mindset and willingness to actively support back-office administrative tasks.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
