Position Summary  

 

As a Digital Communications Analyst, you will leverage the power of social listening, analytics and communications performance measurement, as well as other sources such as media monitoring, to provide actionable insights to Nestlé’s Corporate Communications team. This will include issues sentiment reporting and campaign effectiveness measurement, among others. 

 

You will contribute to the development of Nestlé's Corporate Communications strategic roadmap for social listening and insights. This will involve collaborating with other teams to create processes for using insights to generate innovative research and strategic recommendations. You will also help establish an overall measurement framework for Corporate Communications.

A Day in the Life of a Digital Communications Analyst

 

  • Collect and analyze social media and other reputation information. Combine these findings, identify strategic recommendations, and create persuasive presentations.
  • Evaluate Nestlé’s owned channel measurement, reporting and analytics, helping to define and benchmark content KPIs and provide recommendations on how to optimize owned content strategies. 
  • Work closely with team members to provide data insights throughout the content development process and design A/B, Multivariable, Brand Lift and Survey tests to determine content effectiveness.
  • Help develop our overall Corporate Communications reputation measurement framework.
  • Leverage social media listening tools to create timely research and reporting on reputation, competitive analysis, trends, and emerging topics. Monitor conversations during crisis communication to inform strategic decision making.
  • Translate business challenges and research questions into easy-to-navigate dashboards as well as in-depth analysis presentations that include insights, opportunities, and recommendations for stakeholders to consider. 
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to predict and anticipate trends.
  • Take initiatives to bring data and insights at the heart of our decision making. 
  • Remain abreast of the technologies and emerging solutions that will shape social and digital analytics in upcoming years. 


What will make you successful

 

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years of hand-on experience in social listening and digital data sources, and high level of experience in measuring and analyzing online marketing campaigns including social media.
  • Experience in analytical and reporting tools, including Talkwalker, Sprinklr, Google Analytics etc.
  • Experience in reputation research.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills as well as strong communication, presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Highly organized and structured, able to manage multiple projects and adjust to changing priorities, circumstances and personal styles.
