For our Material and VOC Laboratory Team in Research & Technology Department at the Headquarters in Winterthur,

Switzerland, we are looking for a

Laboratory EngineerSwitzerland - Winterthur - Temporary for 12 months 100%
Your responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, analyze and report mechanical, physical and acoustic tests on parts and materials, mainly polymers and composites
  • Implementation of new test equipment and methods
  • Contribute to the definition of internal measurement standards
  • Contribute to the set up of the result database including feeding and maintenance of it
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists to troubleshoot issues and improve material performance
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
Your qualifications
  • University degree (B.Sc./FH) in Mechanical Engineering, nice to have specialization in noise and vibration or in material processing
  • Experience in Laboratory environment including mechanical and acoustic testing methods (e.g. tensile and bending tests, acoustic absorption and insulation tests)
  • Experience in using laboratory software and data analysis tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus (German)
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
