Our client is a global leader in power transmission and distribution systems. At their site, they develop and manufacture advanced systems for electrical energy transmission and distribution, using the latest development tools and methods to ensure high reliability.

They are looking for a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager for one of their factory. You will lead a team of HSE professionals and specialists, implementing safety regulations, investigating incidents, and supporting employees with the supply system. As a member of the factoryâs management team, you will ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry standards while driving initiatives to improve sustainability metrics.
Your Role:

Promote and ensure compliance with regulations, implement and monitor policies, and standards (ISO14001, ISO45001)Prepare and coordinate regular management reviews, track annual objectives, and define improvement measuresLead, motivate, and develop a local HSE team of threeDrive change through the implementation of organization-wide performance improvement programs, practices, and trainingEnsure application of the HSE risk assessment methodology and risk reduction measuresReport and investigate HSE incidents, provide feedback, and implement improvementsSupport the internal community in supply and environmental issues, share your passion for sustainability, and implement sustainability-related projects to achieve their Sustainability Goals 2030
Your Background:Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational safety and health or a related fieldAt least 5 years of professional experience in HSE management, preferably in an industrial environment and in SwitzerlandAdditional qualification as a specialist in occupational safety and health protection is a plusTeam and solution-oriented approach with excellent written and oral communication skillsProficiency in German and EnglishExcellent interpersonal and leadership skillsPractical experience in developing and managing security systems, with the ability to develop solutions to complex security issues
