Embedded Instrument Control Software Tester

Roche Diagnostics has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join the Molecular Hardware development team based in Rotkreuz.
In an agile working environment together with a team of experts, you will be responsible for the testing of our embedded Instrument Control Software and interaction with Hardware-, Software- and System-Development. As an Embedded Instrument Control SW Tester you will ensure and increase reliability and quality of our design and deliverables by testing, analyze the data generated from our systems and support with root-cause-investigations to give specific information to address identified issues.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and testing of Software functionalities and its interaction with Hardware and the overall System
Creation and execution of test cases based on product and technical requirements
Documentation of performed tests and analysis of generated data, logs and results to gain insights
Tracking of issues and the corresponding verification of bug fixes and troubleshooting within R&D and support of production
Execution of work packages within area of responsibility
Bachelor or Master Degree in mechanical engineering. electrical engineering, software engineering or related disciplines
Experience in development and testing of Software in an agile setup preferably within a Hardware near environment
Experience with Linux in an professional environment
Teamplayer with good communication skills and a proactive working style;Willingness to learn new things and to go the extra mile
Good working knowledge of English (written and spoken), German is an asset
