Hardware Security Engineer Expert ( Reverse Engineering) vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the technology sector.

Your tasks:

Conducting in-depth and comprehensive hardware and firmware security reviews and penetration tests on critical business devices, such as HSMs, servers, switches, and SSDsDeveloping and writing detailed threat models and reports to enhance and support security reviewsPresenting risk findings and mitigation recommendations to technical and organizational leadership across various departmentsAdvocating for security improvements and communicate risk to stakeholders within different organizationsNotifying vendors of identified hardware and firmware vulnerabilities in their productsCollaborating with vendors and internal teams to effectively mitigate identified risks in the short term

Your experience/knowledge:

5+ years of experience in a similar positionExpertise in hardware and firmware security, including penetration testing of critical business devicesStrong technical writing skills for developing comprehensive threat models and detailed security reportsAbility to advocate for security measures and influence leadership and stakeholders within various organizationsExperience in vulnerability management, including communicating with vendors about security issues in their productsBachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a relative discipline

Your soft skills:

Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex security risks and mitigation strategies to both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong collaboration skills for working with both vendor and internal teams to develop effective risk mitigation strategies
