Consumer Engagement Manager - RRP Exploratory Brands

 
Position purpose:

 

 

The RRP Exploratory Brands Group was established following the release of the global JTI Corporate Strategy, which assigned an Exploratory role to the RRP categories other than HT: currently Infused Tobacco, Nicotine Pouches and E-Vapor.

The BG team is responsible for the strategic development and management of the RRP Exploratory Brands, with an end-to-end process across consumer journey (from brand creation, development of packaging, communication and activation tools, and consumer experience management with omnichannel approach), with the purpose of delivering upon a set Learning Agenda, supporting the company to identify future sustainable business model. The role is connected to delivering future business growth in RRP Exploratory categories and is aimed to support brand deployment in markets. The team operates with enhanced stakeholders' structure (M&S + markets + GRRP Category Owners) and aims to set a new way of working, fit for the Exploratory status: test & learn mentality, flexible priorities, fit for purpose process, speed and agility.

 

The RRP Exploratory Brands Consumer Engagement Manager will operate within the RRP Exploratory Brands Group contributing to the development of multiple initiatives, responsible for driving various projects in the areas of brand strategy, portfolio and performance, brand fundamentals, packaging, communication and consumer engagement, including market support. Within Agile ways of working, his/her areas of responsibility may cover different aspects of the business across different brands (Infused Tobacco – WITH, nicotine pouches – NORDIC SPIRIT, e-vapor - LOGIC). The RRP Exploratory Brands Consumer Engagement Manager will collaborate with other counterparts (GRRP, R&D, M&S - SI, CoS, Portfolio Strategy, BGs, BTS, Markets, Region, etc.) to drive the delivery of the initiative as per agreed objectives. The responsibilities will also include agencies management, budget management, regular alignment with key stakeholders across the business.

 

 

What will you do – responsibilities:

 

  • Support building the Brand Strategy involving brand positioning, brand naming, target consumers definition, portfolio definition and optimization, packaging development
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of the optimal Portfolio Strategy (Product Line Strategy or Ecosystem Strategy (devices/flavors/accessories) and portfolio deployment principles. Contribute to Price Management strategy
  • Contribute to the brand communication strategy and develop the communication assets, guidelines, and tailored approach across all consumers touchpoints
  • Lead the development of all the packaging assets  Establish solid fundamentals for pack structure innovation pipeline and sustainability agenda
  • Support the strategic evolution of the brand in line with the Learning Agenda. Contribute to the development and preparation of the ASP/Learning Agenda, liaising with all  involved functions. Provide day to day market support as needed, contributing to the development the required activities
  • Budget accurate planning ensuring efficient utilization of available resources & input into all HQ reporting requirements in a timely manner 


Who are we looking for – requirements:

 

  • University Degree in Marketing, Business preferably
  • MBA or equivalent Business related Postgraduate Degree will be considered a plus
  • 5+ years in Brand Management with proven experience in building brands and successful management of complex projects. 
  • Market, cross functional or RRP experience.
  • International experience is a plus as we are looking for a culturally sensitive team player                                                                                                                                                                    
  • Strategic thinker, curious, open-minded personality with a positive attitude, entrepreneurial spirit and commercial mindset, quick learner. Active team players with strong collaboration skills  
  • Solid time and project management skills, including complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple internal & external stakeholders, agile mindset with ability to work under pressure  
  • Confident communication & presentation skills, with the ability to connect with decision-makers across multiple functions and seniority levels
  • Advanced user of Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point
