Timberland EMEA is looking for an exceptional Business Planner (temporary contract for 1 year) to join our Multi-Channel Operations team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role:

As a Business Planner, you will provide operational support to our Business Planning Department in spearheading strategic planning initiatives for all distribution areas in EMEA. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and build brand equity. Additionally, you will assist in cross-functional S&OP and Inventory Governance initiatives, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assist the Business Planning team and cross-functional teams in optimizing financial performance and building brand equity.

– Support cross-functional teams as a liaison between operational teams, Finance, and the Business.

– Assist in Gross-To-Net activities (from long-range planning to rolling monthly planning and execution) to foster accountability and ownership among commercial business leaders.

– Coordinate cross-functional teams during the weekly Net Sales tracker calls.

– Aid in overseeing the Wholesale Service Model, including Customer Segmentation maintenance, service levels, and Terms & Conditions.

– Provide support in T&C management, promoting adherence with internal system, VF Policies and Timberland Service Model.

– Provide support in Dispute Management/Coordination and Business Model Change Coordination activities.

– Provide support in Engage to Order and Order to Invoice transformation projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

– At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerBI, Cognos is a plus.

– Basic understanding of planning/forecasting processes.

– Interest in the fashion, consumer goods industry is preferred.

– Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

A University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Economics, business or equivalent study is required a pre-requisite
