  • Representing NRC in partnership discussions with UN agencies and other donors, and at inter-agency and NGO forums relevant to the partner/donor portfolio; and ensuring the collection of cross-departmental input into relevant discussions and initiatives.
  • Overseeing the internal help-desk function for capacity building and compliance by managing the partnership team’s support for day-to-day administration of grant agreements:
  • Overseeing the development and updating of NRC donor pages that collect and organise partner/donor guidelines, tools, etc., and other materials, such as funding overviews and summaries of rules and regulations.
  • Responding to enquiries (from NRC HO and COs) related to partner/donor funding priorities, procedures, rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Overseeing the development of the capacity-building strategy and the delivery of capacity-building training on partner/donor requirements.
  • Staying updated on partner policy development and leading advocacy efforts for higher quality financing conditions with relevant actors; includes keeping NRC departments and COs/ROs informed of developments.
  • Ensuring leadership on financing policy initiatives related to quality funding, NGO-led financing mechanisms, and non-traditional contributors, ensuring strategic liaison and engagement of relevant NRC counterparts.
  • Any other tasks and responsibilities as required by the Director of Humanitarian Policy and Representative Office in Geneva.
