The Job

To complete our Engineering & Service Manager team, and to ensure SLA compliance, our Cloud & Database department is looking for a :

Database Administrator (MS SQL Server & Oracle)

Your Missions :

  • Configure, maintain, migrate and support systems infrastructure related to Database solutions.
  • Provide level 2 support to companies and divisions in Switzerland and abroad.
  • Support Service Managers and ensure that all aspects of the service are running smoothly (service design, capacity, performance, operations, engineering, etc.).
  • Monitor and alert on incidents.
  • Document best practices and procedures for daily operational tasks.
  • Manage incidents, changes, configurations and problems (ITIL).
  • Daily operations: Microsoft SQL Server daily (80%), and projects (20%).
  • On-call services throughout the year.
Your Profile
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years' professional experience in Database Administration.
  • Strong professional experience with MS SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Good communication skills and customer orientation.
  • Analytical and structured approach to problems.
  • Automation of standard operations tasks.
Professional Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle.
  • Being comfortable using Windows Server.
  • Good knowledge of Maria DB is a plus.
  • Any certification relevant to this position.
Languages
  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Good knowledge or fluent in Italian (italian working environment)
  • Good knowledge in French 
  • Any other language is a plus
