Digitalization and Automation Project Portfolio Expert

- You are a member of the Smart Process Automation & Digitalization team as part of the Operational Excellence organization of Generali Switzerland.
- You support in establishing and maintaining effective project portfolio processes and governance for digitalization initiatives within Generali Switzerland and represent the Digitalization stream in the Business & Technology change program.
- Together with business you identify opportunities for optimization, simplification, automation, and digitalization of end-to-end processes, e.g. operations and claims or sales, to achieve our efficiency and service quality goals, while ensuring they are in sync with the company's strategic goals.
- You evaluate project demands considering resources, priorities, and capacity.
- You provide ongoing support to initiatives and maximize the effectiveness of project portfolio tools.
- You keep track of risks, changes, costs, and milestones, and support the Digitalization & Automation projects as Generali change program representative.
- You generate and update reports with essential portfolio metrics and KPIs for informed decision-making in Generali's Business & Technology transformation program and towards the Generali group.
- You independently lead cross-functional digitalization projects, optimizing processes with a focus on customer service and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in economics, Business Administration, Process Management, Business IT or equivalent professional experience.
- Min. 4 years of professional experience within the insurance industry or in management consultancy, showcasing a progressive increase in responsibilities. Good understanding of insurance products and end-to-end processes.
- Proven experience in implementing and optimizing project portfolio management and demand management frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely. Proficiency in facilitating collaboration among diverse teams is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive project portfolio management .
- Strong capabilities in creating and preparing reports as a baseline for informed decision-making (mainly using MS Office suite)
- High level of resilience, especially in demanding and stressful situations
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in other languages being a desirable asset, especially German and French.
