The DevSecOps Team Lead plays a crucial role in leading and managing a team responsible for overseeing various aspects related to cloud operations, release processes, and security, based on continuous delivery principles. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure, maintaining process and security standards, and optimizing efficiency, all while promoting a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement in the organization.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to a group of professionals responsible for process enablement and optimization, cloud infrastructure and tools, Reliability Engineering, and Continuous Delivery enhancement
  • Tools and release process automation: Ensure the process is designed for automation. Provide the teams with practical tools, templates, and frameworks to smoothly integrate the process steps into their release pipelines
  • Measure: Provide capabilities to enable metrics like the DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) and the Lead-Time to Market of individual stories. This includes also financial information about operations costs
  • End-2-End Responsibility: Collect and discuss requirements with all stakeholders involved in the release process, including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support. This also includes the development of training programs for users and the coaching of teams that want to improve further.
  • Continuous Learning: Foster a positive, collaborative, and continuous learning team culture, providing coaching and professional development opportunities to help team members grow and excel in their roles
  • Continuous Delivery: Drive the adoption of continuous delivery practices and tools to automate software delivery pipelines, enabling rapid and reliable deployment of applications and updates
  • Continuous Compliance and Security: establish and enforce quality standards, conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements to ensure the organization can pass required certifications I.e, ISO9000, ISO27000, etc.

Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus
