In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities
At IBM, our Project Managers excel by leading and coordinating a project team’s overall performance, scope, cost, and deliverables. Our clients rely on timely and efficient status reports, and as Project Manager, you will drive the charge with project direction, metric definition, and performance management. Your key areas of focus will be:

  • Large account financial management and reporting
  • Compliance with client and IBM processes and procedures
  • Quality assurance
  • Support for pre-sales and post sales activities (CRM support)
  • Account contract lifecycle management support
  • Quality assurance for service delivery
  • Demand management and staffing for projects/services
  • Improving and automating operational activities
  • Career management of operations team

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 10+ years experience in managing large account operations and/or complex project management
  • Deep expertise in the following domains:
    • Supporting account teams in setting up and managing financial tracking and reporting for complex/large projects and services
    • Account contract lifecycle management support including commercial constructs such as COLA/FX adjustments, discount schemas, investment fund calculations, penalty calculations etc
    • Managing compliance and quality assurance services related to IT service delivery and professional services companies
    • Supporting IT services sales teams in solutioning and pricing new services and supporting proposal/bid project management
    • Driving continuous process improvements and automation into services provided to account teams
    • Structuring and managing medium-sized teams
