AIM Application Engineer Data Management (80-100%) Your responsibilities:

To support the Aeronautical information management Solutions team, in the Engineering & Technical Services Department. Within a team of engineering experts, you will:

 

  • Act as system analyst for complex, operational changes which can impact multiple applications in the AIM system landscape
  • Investigate technical incidents and ensure 3rd level maintenance support in cooperation with the maintenance and engineering teams as well as with customers
  • Coordinate and implement all activities concerning a specific change/project in a scaled agile and waterfall environment
  • Collaborate closely with and support the other AIM systems application engineers 
  • Test the application including the creation of test plans, test cases & reports and organize the User Acceptance Testing related to changes
  • Provide the required documentation for Requirements, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Testing, User Manuals and training material for the technical staff
  • Act as contact person for change managers regarding the planning and implementation of minor to major changes
Your profile:
  • Engineering degree in Information Technology, Aeronautics or equivalent
  • Experience in the applications management in an industrial environment with high levels of quality and safety constraints
  • Proven experience in requirement engineering, GIS and AIXM knowledge is a strong plus
  • Basic software development skills would be a plus
  • Some knowledge of virtual infrastructure and basic notions about service-oriented architecture
  • Attention to details, good analytical skills, synthetic capability and solutions oriented
  • Ability to quickly understand business needs and to take initiatives and decisions
  • Capacity to evolve to be autonomous and to take leadership
  • English fluent written and spoken (C1), German is an asset
