Vessel Operator

The main tasks and responsibilities include
Coordinating and overseeing day to day operations of allocated vessels
Providing technical and logistical support to trading for shipping matters
Preparing and checking Letters of Indemnity, reviewing charterparty clauses and agreements
Arranging hire payments and freight invoices
Arranging bunker supplies for the vessels
Monitoring profit and loss for all the vessels/cargoes
Other tasks and responsibilities as the Company may see fit
The role is 100% office based
The ideal candidate is
Is efficient, able to work under pressure, very well organized, detailed and comfortable in using IT applications (MS Office)
Has the ability to integrate into and to work well in a multicultural team and fast-paced environment
Has an independent, flexible and entrepreneurial work attitude and high motivation to solve problems
Is self-motivated and willing to take over responsibilities
Qualifications and requirements
At least 2 years of shipping experience, preferably in time charter operations
Familiarity of IMOS vessel operating system and Sedna
Proficiency in English (both verbal and written), any further language is an asset
Holding a Swiss work permit or passport holder of CH / EU
