Die IT-Services (ITS) der Universität Basel stellen als zentraler Dienstleister Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien für Lehre, Forschung und Administration bereit. Sie unterstützen und beraten die über 19'000 Angehörigen der Universität.

Das Client Services Team stellt die Backend-Dienste zur Verfügung, die für das System-Management unserer Arbeitsplätze (Windows, macOS, Linux) in allen Bereichen benötigt werden. Dabei verfolgen wir betriebssystem-übergreifend einheitliche Konzepte. Die Umgebung besteht aus kommerziellen und Open-Source Verwaltungs-/Managementsystemen wie z.B. Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Ivanti Endpoint Manager und Chocolatey.
• Mitarbeit im Betrieb und Engineering von Client-Management-Frameworks

• Erstellung, Testing und Wartung von Deploymentpaketen

• Mitarbeit in Projekten und Implementierung neuer Technologien rund um den "Modern Client"

• Erstellen und aktualisieren von Betriebskonzepten

• Mitarbeit im Incident-, Change- und Problem-Management
• Leidenschaft und Begeisterung für aktuelle Entwicklungen in der IT

• Erfahrung in der Fehlerbehebung und Systemoptimierung unter Windows

• Praktische Kenntnisse in der Programmierung oder Skriptentwicklung, idealerweise mit Powershell

• Fähigkeit, Aufgaben durch Automatisierung zu erleichtern und zu verbessern

• generelle Kenntnisse über Computer-Hardware und Hardware-nahe Software (Uefi, Firmware, Treiber)

• (erste) Erfahrung mit Management- und Software-Deployment Frameworks

• Interesse an Cloud-Technologien und Lösungen

• Gute Deutsch und Englischkenntnisse Es erwartet Sie eine sehr verantwortungsvolle, interessante und abwechslungsreiche Tätigkeit in einem hochmotivierten Team.
